    • The Answer: Yes. We use premium, FDA-compliant deep-pour epoxy that is fully non-toxic once cured. It is designed for direct food contact, making it perfect for charcuterie, cheeses, and appetizers.

  • "Can I actually cut on the board?"
    • The Answer: You can cut on the Walnut portions of the board. However, to maintain the glass-like finish of the epoxy "river," we recommend avoiding heavy chopping with serrated knives on the resin sections. For the longest life, use the wood for prep and the whole board for a stunning presentation.

2. Care & Longevity

  • "How do I clean my board?"
    • The Answer: Hand-wash only with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Dry it immediately. Never soak it in the sink or put it in the dishwasher, as extreme heat and moisture can damage the natural wood fibers.
  • "Does the wood need maintenance?"
    • The Answer: Yes. To keep the walnut supple and the grain vibrant, we recommend applying a food-grade mineral oil or board butter every 4–6 weeks, or whenever the wood begins to look "thirsty."

3. Made-to-Order & Personalization

  • "How long will it take to receive my order?"
    • The Answer: Quality takes time. Our current lead time is 14–21 days. This ensures the epoxy is fully cured and the wood is meticulously finished by hand in our Indiana workshop.
  • "Can I choose a custom color for the resin?"
    • The Answer: Absolutely. We can mix custom pigments to create a specific hue that complements your home’s aesthetic. Simply reach out to us to discuss your vision.
  • "Do you offer engraving for gifts?"
    • The Answer: Yes. We can precision-engrave names, dates, or logos directly into the wood. This is a popular option for weddings, anniversaries, and corporate heirlooms.

4. Shipping & Policies

  • "How are the boards packaged?"
    • The Answer: Every shipment is a "reveal." We use hand-stamped, eco-friendly packaging and premium cards to ensure your board arrives as a ready-to-gift experience.
  • "What is your return policy?"
    • The Answer: Because each piece is made-to-order, we cannot accept returns. However, your satisfaction is our priority; if there is a structural defect or shipping damage, we will resolve it immediately.
