This is the stand. Not a made-to-order palette — the exact single-species curly maple Adjustable Book & Tablet Stand in the photographs, hand-built in our Leo, Indiana workshop. Curly maple's tiger-stripe figure shimmers and shifts as you move around it, so no other stand will ever catch the light quite like this one. When it finds its home, it's gone.

The Mechanism

A two-piece sliding architecture: the holder board slides through the back support to set the perfect ergonomic lean, with rock-solid stability for everything from a slim tablet to a four-inch textbook — all on a low, tidy footprint on your desk or counter.

Care
